If you're playing just for the campaign, I don't like the small changes they made to the story, but it's an okay graphical update. After they hyped up all the work they'd be doing for this game, they scaled their project way, way back and players felt pretty betrayed. They added some dumb lines/story beats to make the story align more with the developments in WoW, and added a bunch of side quest content that is kinda poorly designed, C) performance issues stemming from poor planning, making modded content run extremely poorly, and D) overpromising and underdelivering. People are exaggerating about the looks a little bit, it looks okay, I think the bigger issues are A) bugs, there are some really egregious bugs that don't make it unplayable but are quite frankly really unprofessional for one of the largest game publishers in the world, B) changes they made/added to the campaign that were poorly thought-out.
